Richard Gunner

Richard Gunner has been the driving force behind the establishment of Feast! Fine Foods in 2001. The whole business stemmed from a desire to bring to the consumer some of the premium beef and lamb grown on the family properties at Meningie located adjacent to the spectacular Coorong region at the end of Australia's famous Murray Darling Basin.


Richard Gunner is passionate about ethically produced tender, tasty red meat.

Since beginning with that simple aim Richard has overseen the growth of both Feast! as well as our signature brands Coorong Angus Beef and more recently Pure Suffolk Lamb.

Over this time he has had a chance to learn and interact with some of Australia's leading food identities who have both educated and inspired some of the innovations within the family business.

In addition Richard has been awarded the Young Leader award in the 2002 South Australia Premiers Food awards after winning the South Australian Meat Industries equivalent award in that same year.

Since that time he has addressed numerous groups of both producers and consumers in an effort to educate people about not only our business but the reasons why consumers should choose farmer direct ethically produced meats and the challenges facing farmers who attempt to produce this way.

Richard is married to Liz and they have two young boys who enjoy the wide open spaces of their Adelaide Hills farm where they raise a small flock of 200 pure bred suffolk ewes.
